Stressed?

No, it's not what you think the title states.
So i've been having doubts about this stress problem.
During English period just now, we had to summarised a text and yes, you've guessed it- It's was a text on "Teenagers and stress" or something like that.

The text said- well it's not exactly what the text really said, i didn't copy down the exact sentence, but it's something like this-,
Teenagers have to cope with stress from school (teachers and friends) and also from home (parents and siblings).
True that, true that.
But have you ever wonder. maybe we are never put directly under any circumstances that would lead us to this situation that we call... stress?
Have you ever wondered that maybe, we people- well to be a bit more specific, us students- aren't stressed at all?
That we actually became so adapted to any situations that would cause us... stress?
That maybe we are actually UNDER STRESSED?

Instead what we think we're dealing with is actually the whole opposite thing?

STRESSED VS. UNDER STRESSED.

Maybe all the pressure that we face, all the high hopes and expectations thrown at us, all the due dates and assignments piled up over our backs, all the responsibilities burdened on on our shoulders had changed mankind?
Maybe us humans have evolved to become unaffected by all these unnecessary emotions that caused us to evolve again to become the generation who couldn't care less?

Think about it, dealing with the same shit over and over again, every single tedious day, in every moment of your half-wasted youth. You couldn't care less about it anymore. You don't even know what you're doing.

Maybe we are under stressed after all? Maybe we couldn't bother about anything else in our shitty lives that we give up doing everything else and actually DO NOTHING about it. Comforting ourselves with the thoughts of "Oh, someone else would solve this problem."

I mean honestly, if we are not under stressed, why are we so addicted to social webs like Twitter and Facebook? Why do we go hang out away from home for one whole day? Why aren't we ever tired talking on the phone even when our ears are like half-roasted from all the radiation? IF WE'RE NOT UNDER STRESSED, WHY THE HELL AM I WRITING THIS INSTEAD OF DOING SOMETHING 'PRODUCTIVE'?

My point is, The system should change, we need a change. This whole stress issue is leading us into lazy-assed human beings that couldn't care less about anything else other than themselves? Maybe yes, maybe not.

Maybe I'M the one that's just STRESSED?
